Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing help-seeking behavior regarding mental health among high school students in the post-COVID-19 era, with a focus on barriers and motivators within the Vietnamese social context. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and in-depth interviews to collect data, which is then analyzed using statistical methods. The findings indicate that individual factors such as awareness of mental health, social stigma, and expectations of support services are crucial in determining whether students seek help. Additionally, cultural factors and the availability of support services at schools also play a significant role. This research provides a foundation for proposing more effective mental health support policies and programs for students in the post-COVID-19 context.
