CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER LEVELS FLUCTUATIONS IN GANH HAO RIVER – BAC LIEU PROVINCE UNDER THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Abstract

From the analysis of water level data at Ganh Hao – Bac Lieu hydrological station for 41 years (1979 - 2019), it shows that after 2006, the water level increased rapidly and anomaly, not following the rules that occurred before, this have been recorded at the Cau Da water level station – Nha Trang bay. In which, the occurrence of an abnormally fast increase in the average annual water level in the period of 2016 - 2017 gives many doubts about the abnormality of the weather, which can form a new average water level equilibrium for the study area.
