Abstract

The relationship between folklore and literature has existed for a long time in the history of Vietnamese literature. The presence of folklore elements in literary works really brings profound value in terms of content and art form, showing the connection between long time folklore values and literary creation of the artist. Studying the flow of folklore in the process of literary history is an effective way to decipher the folklore values ​​in each literary work in particular, period of oral literature and medieval literature in general.
