APPLYING CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSROOM AT DONG NAI TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the most important soft skills that students need to be equipped and master when they study at university, because it will help students be able to think logically and accurately. This article aims to introduce theories related to the formation and development of critical thinking, as well as effective methods that previous researchers have shown to help students develop this crucial skill.  Additionally, the article also suggests some appropriate methods that lecturers at Dong Nai Technology University in particular and in Vietnam in general can apply to their foreign language classes.
