Abstract
The Đắk Nông UNESCO Global Geopark (referred to as the Geopark), with its outstanding heritage values, has been identified as a key driver of Đắk Nông Province’s development. However, to date, the effective utilization of the Geopark's heritage for socio-economic development remains limited. Archaeological studies have demonstrated the richness and diversity in the quantity, types, and potential of the outdoor archaeological sites within the Geopark. These heritage assets remain untapped, with no specific plans or actions in place for their development. Archaeological research aimed at the conservation and promotion of the heritage values of the outdoor archaeological site in Village 7 (Đắk Drô Commune, Krông Nô District) serves as a pilot model and a valuable lesson for implementing activities to harness the value of archaeological heritage for local development.
