CURRENT SITUATION OF JAPANESE LANGUAGE LEARNING OF JAPANESE MAJOR STUDENTS AT DONG NAI TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY AND SOME SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS

Abstract
In today's society, learning foreign languages is a significant area of interest and research for many young individuals. Selecting a language that facilitates job opportunities or enables collaboration with international colleagues is crucial for their future. Besides English, determining which foreign language to study can open up numerous career prospects, secure stable employment, and foster future growth. It is essential to gather detailed and specific information on various aspects. This study involved a survey of 100 students majoring in Oriental Studies - Japanese Studies at Dong Nai Technology University. Additionally, the author conducted in-depth qualitative interviews with five students who are currently engaged in studying and working with the Japanese language. Both quantitative and qualitative survey methods were employed to evaluate the current state of Japanese language learning among students at Dong Nai Technology University. Concurrently, the author suggested strategies to enhance the quality of training for students in the future.
