Mang Den and Kon Plong Communes, Quang Ngai Province is known as an area with high biodiversity of plants, with forest coverage of up to 78% of the area, and is also a large medicinal herb area. Research results show that many valuable medicinal herbs were found with 158 medicinal plant species belonging to 145 genera of 59 families in the Magnoliopsida class growing and developing diversely under the forest canopy of the Mang Den and Kon Plong Communes, some typical species such as Panax vietnamensi , Anoectochilus setaceus, Codonopsis javanica, Coscinium fenestratum, Ampelopsis cantoniensis, Docynia indica, Momordica charantia, Ligusticum wallichii, Celastrus hindsii, Panax pseudoginseng, Angelica pubescens, Angelica sinensis... The list of medicinal plants has been built, showing full scientific information about life forms, used parts, active ingredients in plants and medicinal uses, which is of practical significance in looking up medicinal plants to effectively exploit and develop medicinal areas in line with current trends, along with the conservation and rational use of medicinal plant resources in the Magnolia class.
