Influence of preparation methods on the performance efficiency of quantum dot sensitized solar cell

Abstract
In this study, we have prepared TiO2/CdS/CdSe:Mn2+ with CdSe:Mn2+ photoanode using chemical bath deposition and successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction methods to improve the performance efficiency of quantum dot sensitized solar cell. As a result, TiO2 thin film has an Anatase structure, both CdS and CdSe doped Mn have the zinc blende. The morphologies of photoanode, as a sphere, were recorded by scanning electron microscopy. The current density - Voltaic curves show that the performance efficiency for TiO2/CdS/CdSe:Mn2+- chemical bath deposition is 4.9%, which is higher than that of TiO2/CdS/CdSe:Mn2+- successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (3.77%). Moreover, optical properties, current density - Voltaic curves, dynamic resistances Rct1 and Rct2 were determined and explained details.
