Some difficulties in teaching practical experimental biological knowledge in Natural Science subjects for grade 7 in some lower secondary schools in the Mekong Delta

Abstract
The ability to teach experimental practice was considered by the Ministry of Education and Training as one of the important competencies in the General Education Program for Natural Science (2018). However, research results on this ability in some secondary schools in the Mekong Delta showed that male teachers faced difficulties due to a lack of facilities, teaching equipment, and reference materials. In addition, some teachers' opinions suggested that the experimental practice teaching process was also a step forward for further research on this area. In summary, the study indicated that it was necessary to supplement reference materials and teaching equipment to improve the quality of teaching biological experiments in Natural Science 7 in secondary schools in the Mekong Delta region.
