Researching student needs for research-oriented information literacy training at Information Technology University, Ho Chi Minh City National University

Abstract

The study was conducted using a quantitative method with 104 samples collected through the Microsoft Forms application. The research results show that student’s demand for information literacy training to support scientific research mainly focuses on training content, format, methods, personnel, organization plans, technologies supporting scientific research, assessment and evaluation methods, as well as other needs of students from the University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.
