“Ethnic cleansing” in Bosnia-Herzegovina war (1992-1995)

Abstract

During the breakup of the multi-ethnic state of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in the 1990s. Among the outstanding features of this war was the bloody violence, especially the policy of "ethnic cleansing". This campaign not only took place during the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina but also was found in Croatia, Kosovo, etc... Therefore, by synthesizing and analyzing data sources, the author clarifies it during the Bosnia-Herzegovina war (1992-1995) to shed light on the bitter conflict between the Serbs, Muslims, and Croats in Bosnia, thereby contributing to a better understanding of national issues, nationalism in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia as well as the violent disintegration process in this multi-ethnic country.
