Abstract

Competency development is one of the important tasks in teaching mathematics in primary schools. The article proposes teaching processes to form rules, formulas, calculating processes and specific examples to develop the competency of mathematical thinking and argument through the topics related to arithmetic and operations in arithmetic and operations.
