Abstract

Socio-emotional education for children should not be separated from the task of cognitive education. In addition, educators must clearly identify the core values that need to be instilled in children for productive impacts. This article argues that socio-emotional education builds on nurturing cognition and aims for the true value of good actions and habits rather than merely outer signs (such as following the trend, seeking compliments or serving sheer communication, but it should be the right thing to do, for example: do to get a job, do to be praised, do to rewarded...).
