The feature of words of mentality-love in Nguyen Ngoc Tu’s short stories

Abstract

With the clever use of language system, especially words of mentality-love to describe the mentality of the characters in some events, Nguyen Ngoc Tu successfully sketched the characters' characteristics and delighted the image of the People living in Southern area: honest, rustic, affectionate and optimistic about their lives. This paper focuses on exploiting the semantic features of the psycho - emotional word class in short stories by Nguyen Ngoc Tu. Thereby, it helps readers have a more empathetic view of life and the unfortunate lives in the work in particular and in the South in general.
