Solutions for enhancing community service awareness among students at Dong Thap University

Abstract

The article focuses on proposing solutions to enhance community service awareness among students at Dong Thap University. Community service awareness is an important value in today's society. However, in some universities, students do not fully possess this awareness. For Dong Thap University, enhancing students' community service awareness is an urgent task. As emphasized by the precious teachings of Uncle Ho: "Youth must be the pillars of the nation"; "Do not fear hardship or difficulty, youth turn up wherever it calls for, and wherever difficulties emerge," this statement emphasizes the importance of community service awareness in today's society. Currently, helping Dong Thap University students enhance their community service awareness includes strengthening education and creating activities to help students better understand the importance of community service, applying effective educational methods, and establishing collaborative programs with the community to help students practice and develop community service skills.
