Recognizing Bong roi Performace in the South West

Bong roi is a type of folk performance associated with goddess worship in the South, including Hat roi, Mua bong and Dien chap. Local Bong roi festivals serve the praying for peace, thanksgiving and folk entertainment. Currently, Bong roi performance is lost due to multiple different factors, both objective and subjective. Identifying this folk art through its artistic characteristics and values will contribute to the preservation and promotion of folk performing arts typical of female goddess in the South and Southwest.
