CULTURAL VALUE AND FACTORS RELATED TO PRESERVING "BAI CHOI" ART IN CENTRAL VIETNAM

Abstract
The article is based on a field-observation research on “Bai choi” in the Central Vietnam to recognize the cultural values of this performing art. Its performances play an important role in making it the intangible cultural Heritage representative of mankind; thereby, preserving that heritage is of utmost importance today. The paper points out the contributors helping this art become a heritage and also those factors impairing it.
