SEEKING APPROPRIATE SOLUTIONS TO RESTRUCTURING VIETNAM'S COMMERCIAL BANK IN PRESENT STAGE

Abstract

    As of the end of 2011 Vietnam banking system was composes of one development bank, one social policy bank, 5 state run commercial banks, 37 commercial joint stock banks, 50 foreign bank branches, 5 totally foreign owned banks, 5 joint venture banks, 18 financial companies, 12 leasing companies, one central credit fund, one micro financial organization and 1,083 people credit funds.
