Study on the relationship between Vietnam-China trade and Vietnam's economic growth in the period 1992-2013

Abstract


Since the normalization of relations in 1991, bilateral trade between Vietnam and China has developed rapidly and far and wide, China is currently the largest trade partner of Vietnam and the country. Direct investment in Vietnam ranks 15th on the list of countries with FDI capital in Vietnam. The paper uses the SVAR, estimating parameters based on data from previous periods of the Sino-Vietnamese trade, and then in the form of shocks between the trade indicators Dependence on Vietnam and China and GDP growth of Vietnam, concludes on the relationship between Vietnam and China and economic growth in Vietnam period 1992-2013, from which there are some recommendations uv change mechanics Trade Structure and Trade Policy with China.
