Offshore investment in the oil and gas sector: China's experience and some lessons for Vietnam

Abstract

The paper analyzes and evaluates the results of offshore investment by Chinese national oil companies in the oil field in recent years. From that, it has provided a number of lessons for the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) in order to effectively expand its offshore investment activities in this particular sector.
