Abstract

In Vietnam, regional integration, especially linking regional economic development, has always been considered as one of the key orientations of the Party and the State in socio-economic development of the region. This paper evaluates the status of regional cohesion, addresses the issues of policy inadequacies that affect regional integration, and some reflections on regional coherence in economic restructuring and transformation.
