Abstract

In the digital era, children are a vulnerable group increasingly exposed to online risks, especially harmful content such as violence, pornography, misinformation, and online abuse. Educating children in self-protection skills has become an urgent priority to safeguard their right to a safe and healthy life. This article analyzes the theoretical and practical foundations of online safety education, identifi es key challenges, and proposes solutions to strengthen self-protection education for children in Vietnam's current digital environment.
