Abstract

The three industrial revolutions: mechanization, electrification, and automation are important milestones marking great socio-economic development steps of mankind. Currently, along with the industrial revolution 4.0, "digital transformation" is the key word most mentioned by policymakers, scientists and businesses, because it has been changing the world socioeconomic base. Digital transformation is not only a tool, but also a living environment that opens up many new opportunities: learning anytime, anywhere, continuous training and so on. As Vietnam becomes more integrated with the rest of the world, workers will require more skills to meet the demands of the international labor market. However, because the majority of workers live in rural and mountainous areas, they require learning methods that are appropriate for the time and distance to the study site. A smart learning environment in vocational training suitable for all learners will be available thanks to the support of advanced technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, simulation, artificial intelligence, etc. This paper proposes a new hybrid model of teaching and learning so as to achieve deep integration between information technology and the classroom and to promote digital transformation in education.
