Với mục tiêu tìm kiếm các vi sinh vật bản địa có lợi để sản xuất thử nghiệm các chế phẩm sinh học trong phòng trừ tuyến trùng gây hại trên các loại rau, nghiên cứu này đã phân lập, tuyển chọn và xác định được 3 chủng vi khuẩn Bacillus bản địa có triển vọng trong việc kiểm soát tuyến trùng Meloidogyne spp. gây hại rễ và kích thích sinh trưởng (KTST) cây rau. Bằng phương pháp định danh hình thái, sinh hóa và giải trình tự vùng 16S rRNA đã xác định được 3 loài vi khuẩn Bacillus velezensis BHMT 4.1, B. amylolifequacien CCCX 2.2 và B. subtilis CCCX 2.1. Nghiên cứu đã khảo sát định tính một số đặc điểm KTST của vi khuẩn, kết quả, 3 chủng vi khuẩn đều có khả năng sinh IAA, hòa tan phosphate (với vòng phân giải đạt từ 1,57 - 2,0 mm) và tổng hợp siderophore (với hiệu số sinh siderophore đạt 3,33 - 6,33 mm). Hơn nữa, 3 chủng đều có khả năng gây chết đối với ấu trùng Meloidogyne spp. J2 và kiểm soát sự nở trứng của tuyến trùng Meloidogyne spp. Trong đó, chủng B. velezensis BHMT4.1 có khả năng gây chết ấu trùng Meloidogyne spp. J2 với tỉ lệ cao nhất 66,67% sau 48 giờ và kiểm soát tỉ lệ ức chế nở trứng tuyến trùng đạt 44% sau 7 ngày. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, 3 chủng vi khuẩn Bacillus bản địa đã phân lập rất có tiềm năng ứng dụng trong kiểm soát tuyến trùng Meloidogyne spp. gây hại trên cây rau.
