Develop small and medium development – economic growth pulse

Abstract

Following the renovation policy of the Party and the State, all economic sectors are equally developed under the market mechanism. Accordingly, Vietnam’s business environment has undergone fundamental changes, and business establishment procedures have been reformed and opened up, creating favorable conditions for developing rapidly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Currently, SMEs account for 96.7% of the total number of enterprises in the country. The growth in both quantity and quality of the SME sector has been making an important contribution to Vietnam’s socio-economic development and international economic integration process. Besides, it also revealed limitations and weaknesses, which need to be considered and removed, in order to support SMEs stable development
