Abstract

Along with the general trend of international integration of the economy, the Vietnamese banking system is facing a “wave” of integration with commitments to open up in the direction of increasingly loosening regulations, opening up many opportunities. But also poses many difficulties and challenges for the sustainable development of the system. The article studies the current situation of sustainable development in state-owned commercial banks in the context of integration. With data collected from annual reports and financial statements of the period 2018-2022 and using research methods to collect and process data, study the status of sustainable development at state-owned commercial banks. such as the actual implementation of economic standards, environmental standards and social standards. Research results show that in the period from 2018 to now, the main indicators of business activities of state-owned commercial banks have achieved high results. Based on the obtained research results, the authors propose some solutions for sustainable development at state-owned commercial banks in international integration.
