Abstract
Fostering Chinese communication ability for students is of special importance. The article presents the application of the method of reading documents, demarcating the boundary between language competence and language communication competence, thereby giving some general directions for specialized Chinese language training of students at Faculty of Chinese - Japanese, Hanoi University of Business and Technology (HUBT).
