Business performance of Vietnam commercial banks in the period of 2018 - 2019

Abstract

    The article summarizes the performance of the Vietnam’s banking sector in period of  2018-2019. The article shows that banks had strong growth in earning, but capital adequacy ratio, asset quality and management capacity were weak, profitability was not commensurate with their potential. From that, the article offers some recommendations for improvement of the banking sector in the coming time.
