Solutions of financial resource mobilization for developing private universities in vietnam

Abstract

The Party’s policy on socialization of education has been concretized by Decree No. 53/2006/ND-CP and Decree No. 69/2008 / ND-CP of the Government, Circular No. 135/2008/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance. The financial source for the operation of private universities is mainly based on the contributions of organizations and individuals, and based on the student’s tuition. The State’s support is still very modest. Therefore, the newly established private universities faced many difficulties. The article analyzes the financial situation of private universities in Vietnam, proposes a number of solutions to mobilize financial resources for university development and recommends the State to promulgate policies on financial incentives, land,…, for private universities.
