Abstract

During the French colonial period, all living habits, lifestyles and Asian styles of the Vietnameses were also influenced more or less by “French quality”. Vietnamese architecture is no exception. The monumental buildings of neoclassical style or architectural features of Eastern style combined with a bit of Western France create a new architectural style in Vietnam. French buildings in the heart of Hanoi are relics we need to cherish and keep.
