Objective, requirement, assessment of master thesis at the economic, management and business administration training institutions in Vietnam

Abstract

The master’s thesis in general, and the master’s thesis in business and management in particular, is a scientific research aimed at solving practical problems and/or answering questions that students are interested in based on specialized knowledge of the respective training program. The quality of the master’s thesis is always considered an important step contributing to improving
the quality of master’s training at the training institution. Currently, there are many different conceptions and understandings about the goals, requirements and evaluation of a master’s thesis, which requires a consensus on this issue. The article gives suggestions to improve the quality of master’s theses at training institutions in economics, management and business administration in Vietnam.
