Financial policy to support small and medium enterprises to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

From the beginning of 2020 up to now, the Covid-19 epidemic broke out and caused severe impacts on enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. The Government has had many solutions to support SMEs in order to maintain and develop production and business. This paper studies financial policies which have been made and are being deployed to support SMEs in the context of the epidemic; proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of policies and supporting SMEs to increase their resilience and recovery in the time of post-Covid-19.
