Research to evaluate fluctuations in the volume of hazardous waste generated from industrial parks in Nam Dinh province and propose solutions to improve management efficiency

Abstract

By the end of 2023, Nam Dinh province's industrial parks have 186 investment projects with a total registered capital of 7,987 billion VND and 1.014 billion USD. The activities of enterprises in industrial parks continue to contribute greatly to the socio-economic development of the province, with industrial production value reaching 25 trillion VND, export value reaching 900 million USD, accounting for 30 % of the province's export value, creating jobs for 47 thousand workers and contributing 450 billion VND to the state budget. Along with economic development, the increase in hazardous waste from daily life and production activities in Nam Dinh also poses many problems for managers. This study was carried out to evaluate the rate of increase in the amount of hazardous waste in the province, analyze and evaluate the problems in management, thereby proposing some solutions to improve management efficiency. hazardous waste in the area.
