Evaluation of the situation of land change registration and the work of updating and adjusting cast records in Ba Vi district, Hanoi city

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate and propose solutions to improve the efficiency of land change registration and updating and adjusting cadastral records in Ba Vi district, Hanoi city. Research results show that in the period 2021-2023, the whole district received 24,058 land change registration applications, and resolved 23,787 applications, reaching a high rate of 98.87 %; The majority of people highly appreciate the procedures for registering land changes, with 33.0 % rating it as simple; 58.0 % rated it at normal level. However, the change records are updated and adjusted but not fully and promptly, and the speed is still slow, leading to the cadastral records not being synchronized and ensuring consistency, and not being updated regularly, not being consistent with current land use status. Especially up to now, the district has not had a cadastral map system that has been accepted and handed over for use; Construction of land database has not yet been completed. On that basis, the author proposes solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles and improve the efficiency of land change registration, updating and correcting cadastral records in Ba Vi district, Hanoi city.
