Abstract

Mineral water is a very special mineral resource, it is the only mineral that can regenerate itself if exploited and protected properly. However, mining hot mineral water mines is accompanied by many potential environmental impacts that pose a risk of pollution. Economic development and environmental protection are always placed in parallel. This study assesses the level of compliance with environmental protection laws of enterprises and proposes solutions to maintain and improve environmental protection laws to improve management efficiency. The research results show that Mining Geology Joint Stock Company - TKV has fully completed a part of the legal procedures related to environmental protection during its operations. Some contents in the environmental impact assessment report and legal regulations on environmental protection and solid waste management need to be implemented better, it is necessary to maintain the classification, collection, and management of solid waste and hazardous waste under current legal regulations. The company needs to urgently complete the legal procedures on minerals, environmental impact assessment reports, and land according to regulations to be granted an environmental license, and regularly operate the wastewater treatment system according to the technological process of the station, the design stated in the license application. It is recommended that the company periodically monitor wastewater for a frequency of 06 months/time and send the results to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quang Ninh province to monitor and strengthen control of wastewater quality.
