13. Logistics development - a solution to improve competitiveness for Vietnamese export enterprises

Abstract

The more the world's production develops, the more urgent the need for logistics services, especially logistics for export activities, becomes. Vietnam now has all the conditions to develop logistics services. However, the current reality in Vietnam is that the use of logistics services is still considered a strange thing for export businesses. By using methods such as statistical methods, balance analysis, interpretation, induction, synthesis analysis, logic methods, and forecasting methods. Based on the research results, the author proposes groups of logistics development solutions, including: Group of solutions for logistics infrastructure development, group of solutions for information technology development, group of solutions for industry development policies, group of solutions for human resource development. Research to find solutions for logistics development will not only help Vietnamese export businesses expand their markets abroad, gain more benefits, especially benefits in terms of costs, service quality and speed up the supply of goods to the world market, increase profits, improve competitiveness compared to competitors in the domestic market and in the international market, but also help the entire Vietnamese economy develop, catch up with the economies of developed countries in the region and in the world. Logistics needs to be prioritized for investment and development at a fast and sustainable pace, creating a premise for the socio-economic development of the country.
