Assessing establishment and implementation of urban planning and proposing solutions

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the results of establishing and implementing different types of planning in urban areas in Vietnam. The establishment and implementation of urban planning still have a number of limitations and problems but basically they are good, as an important legal basis for the land allocation, land lease, change of land use purpose, land acquisition, cadastral dossier, land use right certification and implementation of the supervision, inspection and examination of the management of land use. These establishment and implementation showed significant results of not only the land management in surburb areas but also land management in urban areas. The paper uses the method of document collection, secondary data and expert method, on the basis of the collected data, these methods are applied to evaluate the research results. In order to improve the effectiveness of the establishment and implementation of various types of urban planning, it is necessary to synchronously implement solutions to complete policies and solutions for law enforcement of all levels of authorities, management and urban land use.
