06. Combination of remote sensing technology and hydrological model for estimating of flood flow to reservoir: a case study in the basin of Ban Chat hydropower
Keywords:
Abstract
The article focused on practical demand of using remote sensing to calculate flood flow to reservoirs in order to prevent and mitigate downstream impacts in case of incidents. The process is the combinination of information extracted from remote sensing data and hydrological model (SWAT) to calculate flood flow to reservoirs under climate change scenario 2016, directly serves for monitoring, making decision for disaster prevention and mitigation. This approach can be applied for a large river basin in conjunction with the assessment of socio-economic impacts in case of incidents.
