15. Assessment of the current situation of land fund for construction of social housing, land for public works in some urban areas in Hanoi

Abstract

This study aims to assess the status of land fund for social housing and public works in Hanoi, including reviewing and receiving land fund of 20 % of the social housing development area in the project. Urban projects and land fund for construction of public works in 13 urban areas, the project is allocated land in the period of 2017 - 2021. This result shows that the proportion of land fund for social housing is still low, only about 2.17 % and land for public works is 5.82 %. This land fund has also been basically cleared, with infrastructure built and handed over to land fund development Center of Hanoi for management; Several lands lots have been auctioned for land use rights in accordance with regulations. To improve the efficiency of the management and development of the land fund mentioned above, it is necessary to synchronously implement policy solutions, economic, financial, and technical solutions in land management
