A STUDY ON THE SELECTION CRITERIA FOR VIETNAMESE FEMALE BADMINTON ATHLETES IN THE INTENSIVE SPECIALIZATION TRAINING PHASE

Abstract

Based on a comprehensive review of documents, interviews with coaches, instructors, and experts in badminton across the country, an assessment was conducted on the current state of selection criteria for female badminton players in Vietnam from the year 2000 to the present. Through standard research methods in sports, 25 selection criteria for female badminton players during the period of specialized training were identified and chosen, ensuring high reliability and informative value after experimental verification of the effectiveness of the selected criteria. This facilitates the selection and training process for female badminton athletes in the later stages of high-performance sports training.
