Developing economic zones and industrial parks to generate sources of goods for logistics service growth in Quang Nam province

Abstract

Logistics plays an important role in promoting the development of production and trade, improving development efficiency and international economic integration of each business as well as a country. In addition to infrastructure, human resources, finance, policies, sources of goods for logistics activities are critical factors that influence on the efficiency and development of this service. Developing economic zones and industrial parks to attract many investors is a helpful solution to create commodities sources for logistics service in Quang Nam province, commensurate with its potential and advantages. Using secondary data, statistical analysis and comparison methods, the article examines the current status of planning and investing in economic zones and industrial parks in Quang Nam province. Accordingly, the paper identifies the issues posed in investment in those parks, thereby suggesting solutions to promoting the development of the area in the coming time.
