Abstract
Incineration for power generation is a waste treatment method that converts waste into electricity, which can be used to power the incineration process itself, as well as support production and daily life. It has become a popular choice worldwide. This waste treatment method plays a crucial role in recycling and reusing waste, contributing to the circular economy model and sustainable development. Japan and China were two early adopters of WTE incineration and have achieved significant accomplishments, making great strides in waste management and environmental protection programs. With this long history of development in this area, these countries have accumulated valuable experience in researching, implementing, and operating waste-to-energy projects, providing insights for many other nations. Drawing from the experiences of Japan and China, this article proposes several suggestions that could be studied and applied to the waste management system of Da Nang City..
