Experiences of some cities around the world in building Innovation Centers and lessons learned for Vinh City, Nghe An Province

Abstract
Innovation centers are established to support research, guide, connect, and provide innovation services, research, and development. They serve as a driving force for promoting the innovation ecosystem in a country, region, or locality, within specific industries by leveraging the inherent advantages of the selected area. Given the critical role of innovation centers, the establishment of such centers, in particular, along with the development of a network of innovation support organizations, in general, are of utmost importance. Drawing on the practical experiences of South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand in building innovation centers, this article outlines eight lessons for establishing an innovation center in Vinh City, Nghe An Province.
