Preventing economic waste to boost Vietnam’s strong advancement into a new era

Abstract

As Vietnam is preparing to enter a new era guided by the 100-year goals set by the Party, of which economic growth plays a pivotal role in achieving these objectives. To this end, preventing and mitigating economic waste has become an urgent task to optimize resources, improve economic growth rates, and strengthen the nation's position. This paper analyzes the consequences of economic waste, assesses the current situation of waste prevention and identifies the underlying causes in Vietnam’s economic sector. On this basis, the author proposes solutions and recommendations to prevent and mitigate economic waste in the country in the coming period, thereby fostering economic growth and contributing to the achievement of national objectives.
