Abstract
The Ê Đê’s longhouse heritage in Dak Lak province is a distinctive architectural style with many unique values. Since the 1980s, this architectural form has fragmented into small stilt houses. However, in recent years, the restoration of traditional longhouses, especially communal ones for tourism purposes, has become increasingly common in many Ê Đê villages in Dak Lak province. That is a suitable direction; however, restructuring the heritage value of the Ê Đê’s traditional longhouses to effectively serve tourism development is a complicated issue. This study focuses on the heritage values of the Ê Đê’s longhouses and their restructuring, as well as solutions for the restructuring for tourism development in Dak Lak province.
