Nghe An in the Dai Viet’s foreign strategy under the Ly, Tran and Le Dynasties (XI-XVIII Centuries)

Abstract
In the foreign strategy of Dai Viet (the name of Vietnam for the periods from 1054 to 1400 and from 1428 to 1804), Nghe An played an important role in terms of security, military, economic and diplomatic aspects during history, especially under such dynasties as Ly (1009-1225), Tran (1225) -1400), Early Le (1428-1527) and Le-Trinh (16th-18th centuries). The strategic position of Nghe An is made up of various natural elements, objective and subjective factors as well as rise and fall of each dynasty. The article analyzes the geopolitical position of Nghe An in the foreign strategy of Dai Viet during the Ly - Tran - Le period.
