The cultural language in classical drama Liệu đố written by Nguyen Dieu

Abstract

This article focuses on assessing the life of the classical drama composer Nguyen Dieu (Binh Dinh province) and the unique values of the classical drama Liệu đố
(Treatment of jealousy) – a typical classical drama of h i s works in Chữ Nôm (Nôm script). From a cultural point of view, we generalize and highlig ht a number of linguistic features of Liệu đố. Through cultural language, readers can find that the work has marked the unique development of the medieval classical drama in Nôm script in general, and the classical drama of Binh Dinh in particular.
