Free migration of ethnic minorities in the Northern mountains to Lam Dong province from 1976 to 2015

Abstract

The history of Lam Dong’s formation and development is closely associated with the migration of different communities and ethnic groups, including the groups in the Northern mountains. This paper describes the free migration of ethnic minorities in the Northern mountains to Lam Dong province from 1976 to 2015. Based on the research’s results, the authors shed light on motivations for their migration to Lam Dong in each period.
