Buddhist temples in Quang Nam province in modern times

Abstract

In the land of Quang Nam, Buddhist temples have been built since the
sixteenth century and constantly developed in various aspects, especially in modern times,
from 1945 until the present (2021). The article clarifies three critical issues about Buddhist
temples in the province, i.e. (1) construction and restoration; (2) architecture (master plan,
composition, and decorative sculpture of main works); and (3) objects and modes of worship
