Cultural and religious tourism in Con Dao district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau

Abstract

Con Dao district in Ba Ria Vung Tau is the home of numerous famous human
and natural resources, which creates a critical premise for the formation and development
of religious and cultural tourism. The article assesses the current situation of cultural and
religious tourism in Con Dao district. Research findings demonstrate that Con Dao tourism is
a type of combined tourism in which cultural and religious tourism helps visitors experience
both tourism (including visiting, sightseeing, resting, etc.) and religion (including praying).
